I Pledge Allegiance to the Prep
My Fourth of July did not go as planned… Beginning with a seven hour delay on Thursday the third, sitting in LaGuardia airport until 1 AM waiting to board my plane home to Florida, let's just say I slept in quite a lot on the actual fourth -- so I decided to make my entire weekend an ode to America. Essentially, my mom and I rented a beach house this week on Boca Grande, one of the loveliest islands in Florida. Commence the patriotism in various shades of red, white, and blue. (I wore a navy and white anchor Lilly Pulitzer halter top, red JCrew shorts, white Clarks loafers, a pearl Kiel James Patrick anchor bracelet, and my monogram necklace from Marley Lilly.)
