Ah yes, the New York City bagel, a chewy, wonderful breakfast staple. My first day living downtown, I looked for a bagel shop on Yelp and I hit the jackpot -- Leo's Bagels. Add whatever toppings or spreads you want, get some seeds or raisins on or in your bagel, toast it until the edges are crusty, but the center will always be that chewy soft deliciousness. Leo's operates in this little storefront on Hanover with a trendy aesthetic and the longest list of sandwiches and toppings and spreads that I've ever seen associated with a bagel. It's incredible.
