New Heights

This past weekend a group of friends and I (Kate, Noah, and Reed) trekked up to Washington Heights to spend the day at Fort Tryon Park and the Cloisters museum owned by the Met. It was such a beautiful spring day, the sun was shining, the flowers were blooming, and we just took our time meandering around the hilly landscape overlooking the Hudson River. We started the day in the Lower East Side at Cafe Henrie, known and trendy for its pink and blue graphic diner tables, which I of course took full advantage of photographing! The food was really delicious too... We then hopped onto the subway for the 45 minute ride up to the tip top of Manhattan, where we made our way to the museum of medieval art, housed in what used to be a medieval church imported from France. I wore my new khakis from AG jeans which let me tell you, are my sixth pair of pants from AG and I am truly loyal because their pants are so darned comfortable and flattering. I also went with the pastel pink blazer to dress up the look a little bit and provide a little warmth when a chilly wind blew. This look would be great for a casual Friday at the office or for a day in the park -- it's so versatile. You really can't go wrong when you add a blazer in my strong opinion...

Thanks Noah for the photos!
