One of the best things about studying abroad, especially in Europe, is the ease of weekend travel to many different places. About a month ago, I was introduced to the Tripomatic app (thanks Cristina for the suggestion!). It's a highly useful little application that helps you plan any trip. You simply select your destination and the dates you are going and begin to choose from an array of the top sites, museums, restaurants, etc. that you hope to visit while there. Tripomatic then creates an itinerary for you and, one of the beat features, maps out the best route. I've used the app in Budapest, Athens, Mykonos, Santorini, Rome, and Vienna, so far, and each time was able to plan and organize the things I was going to see. Especially for student travel, which is mostly quick weekends, this is so helpful to let you see as much as possible in a short amount of time! Check it out!
