Roll With the Tide

As much as I now love preppy styles, I used to be quite the attempted hipster, from the oversized blouses to the array of high waisted shorts and pants. Growing up on the coast of Florida, with the salty-humid air permeating everything it touches, it can be easy to find the comfort in boho clothes. I have to leave Florida soon, the wonderful warmth and sunshine and lazy days, to head abroad to Italy. Yes, I'm far from complaining -- I mean, I'm heading to Italy, who could complain -- but I can't say I won't miss this weather.

(I wore a blue and white boho blouse from Dillards, high waisted Topshop jean shorts, brown leather Target belt, hamsa necklace from the Bryant Park holiday market and blue tier necklace from Urban Outfitters, Alex and Ani bracelets, and old Minnetonka beaded leather flip flops.)
