"Destiny is for losers. It's just a stupid excuse to wait for things to happen instead of making them happen." -- Blair Waldorf
This past week and a half I took destiny into my own hands and I emerged victorious after a brutal week of what some call "finals," but is more accurately termed "sleepless caffeine-induced mental breakdown hell." Now I'm packing up my things and heading home, ready for the holidays, followed by four months in Italy, then who knows what the summer will bring. This past semester flew by -- I feel like just yesterday I was moving my things in, yet here I am putting my stuff back into suitcases and boxes. It's been a successful semester, I feel like I've accomplished quite a lot in just a few short months. Bye New York, see you next fall.
(I wore red and navy plaid pants from Morning Lavender, a red Express tank top, navy double-breasted blazer from Banana Republic, Aldo black bow flats, Marley Lilly monogrammed necklace, Ann Taylor rings, and a crystal bracelet also from Morning Lavender.)
